Chinese owners. Bought the place a few years ago. Great chinese food. Viet spring rolls was very good. Service was fast!

Business trip. From Vancouver where there are lots of places to eat. This place would be par with some.

Was in Saskatoon for a business trip and was craving some Chinese food.  This was pretty close to the hotel so I decided to give it a try.  When I went in around 8pm on a Saturday, I was the only one there...Too bad.

Going in, I was totally expecting western style Chinese food, but it was actually really authentic.  Got their beef brisket and garlic sauteed Bok Choy.  Both were good, but a bit too heavy on the MSG.  The rice that came with the food was only warm and not piping hot.

Service was good since I was there only one there.

To end, good service and decent food.

Just down 21st street from Midtown Mall, Ding Dong can be crazy busy for a lunch time crowd during the week.  The specials are posted on the wall and you order right at the till before you sit down.  You can ask for a menu for other items.  The front eating area is small, where you have view street and surrounding stores, but there is an upstairs with adequate space for a large gathering, just no windows. On a busy weekday, the wait may be a bit long, but well worth it.

For good tasty bite without the hassle of waiting in line at the mall and you're down for some Vietnamese food Ding Dong is a spot to try.

Should have gone to midtown plaza for lunch instead! Food taste very plain for a restaurant and the server/ cashier isn't really a good help with viet food when they advertise as Vietnamese cuisine I only saw Chinese/ western food..
